Skiing
Ski resort Plesivec
Ski areal Plesivec in Krusne mountains is the latest winter center in the Czech Republic. A complex of three chair lifts (each capable of transporting per hour 2400 visitors) with eight slopes of total length over twelve kilometers and the longest downhill over 4km. There are two starting places in Pstruzi (near the village Merklin) and near the town Abertamy, below the peak Plesivec. Any visitor, whether a complete beginner or advanced skier always find the best slope for himself. Ski Area is just a few meters from the village Bozi Dar. There's five ski slopes with a length of 300 - 1000 meters with a varying difficulty. There is also an excellent snowpark. Of course there is a rental shop for sports equipment, ski and snowboard school, refreshments and toilets.
